Gearheads of War

Hey Gearheads, I just realized that I forgot to put up the sign up for FFF.  I was just about to turn in for the night as well.  Ugh.  Sign up for FFF below.  I won't be making it because I'm driving to Berkeley tomorrow to go to a wedding on Sunday.  And my best friend's birthday is tomorrow (yeah the guy wound up being born on September 11, a day that will be forever a source of trauma in the country he lives in) so they're having a party on Saturday for him as well.  He and I are going to take a bike ride on Sunday morning.  I'm pretty excited about that.

I should most definitely be on next week as we inch closer to the big releases.  I can't believe that I will actually have NHL 10 in my hands at this time next week.  Holy crap.  That will probably replace World at War as THE game I'm playing non stop.  Although I've got to say that the leveling up and unlocking perks and weapons truly is the crack of video gaming for me.  I've also been able to raise my kill to death ratio to the highest it's been in a COD game at 0.97.  That is all the way up from .79 when I first got going.  I think it means that I need to jump into multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2 immediately because I don't want to go in there and have everyone else have all the cool toys and be massacring me immediately.  You just have to work so hard to get that respectable K/D ratio back.  Maybe if I starting playing MW2 on the night it's launched right away, I can be on level footing with everyone else.  Then again, the East Coast folks will have already had it for three hours by the time I get it.

Any way I'm doing far too much talking out loud.  I'm exhausted.  It's been a terribly long week so I'm actually looking forward to the solitude of a six-hour car ride.
