for my own purpose. Star Wars: The Old Republic is now open for beta signups. If you don't have an account on the site yet, like i did, pay attention here:

When you create an account, theres a box you can check that says "yes, i'm interested in helping to test SWTOR." DON'T click that box. First, create your account and verify the email address. Then go back to the site and on the main page there's a link to sign up for beta testing. The site is effed due to a lot of traffic, and it keeps looping to the account creation page if you try to sign up for the beta when you create your account.
