Gearheads of War

After looking at information on Characters of GoW, I had a thought, what if on single player, your  able to change characters before you start the game or during the game. And whatever character you play as, you get their storyline. Like, Dom's wife was killed   on emergence day. Fenix  was release by Dom. Just like other games such as, Ninja Turtles, you're able to pick any character.

So what do you think?

P.s. It could also make the single player much longer and yes, im aware it's impossible at the moment, but! It if they do make a sequel (not yet confirm) then it could be possible.
