Gearheads of War

here is a vid of someone playing as the Kantus character in multiplayer. Notice near the end when he is in the sniper roost trying to take out that guy and he is getting pelted with bullets, his skin starts to glow like he is being burned by a scorcher. Someone stated in the comments that because he is the necromancer (healer), his skin lights up when he gets hurt, even though he can't heal in multiplayer. Tell me what you think.
