Gearheads of War

Haven't had a whole lot of time to play Bungie's latest, but the time I have has been interesting.

The campaign is really different than the Halo I'm use to.  For the first time in a Halo game I'm conserving ammo, taking cover and am actually being drawn into the story (lol).

The only dig on the game I have so far is that the first half hour or so I had trouble figuring out where to go/what to do.  It's kind of dark and the direction isn't clear. Also the cinimatic when you load up the game absolutely sucks.  It's like they used Windows Movie Maker and some effects to intro you to the Halo world.  Psh. 
  
But after getting initially acquinted with the look and feel of ODST, it's been nothing but fun. The story is fantastic and music already impressing...

What are you impressions of ODST campaign and Firefight?    

Well, i am a student at GA Tech, and had some spare time on my hands, so i went to CRC, which is the olympic sized gym built specifically for the 1996 atlanta olympics.... Anywho, i was on my way to get a quick work out in, when i walk through the doors, low and behold what was staring me in the face, a station with four controllers, four tvs and four copies of Halo ODST, well needless to say i kind of lost my urge to workout the guns, and instead got a chance to test drive this fantastic game. There was only one mode we got to play which was firefight, as everyone knews is the horde like game where you and a group of odst troopers fight off wave after wave of Covanant. I stepped in and was instantly sucked in by the sheer awesomeness of this game. I was sort of disappointed by Halo 3, so i went into this thinking that i was going to be nothing more than a quick copy in order to make a quick buck...

What is your Halo Dream?...

Fanboy or not.  We are allowed to Dream...

We all pretty much started a love affair with Halo at some point.  For many, (myself included...) it pretty much died.

Will Halo ODST bring my love affair with the Halo Franchise back (Including the books)?... I doubt it...  But, you never know...  It might take some steps toward my dream.
