Oblivion, Bioshock, and ODST

After my installation of Windows 7 went off without a hitch I figured I'd take another step out on the ledge and buy a couple of hardware-heavy games:

Bioshock and Oblivion for PC. (Zos, aren't you proud!?)
Price? $30!!!

If you haven't played either of these games (your a loser) or like me have sold them back you NEED to grab this bundle.  The 360 version will set you back just $40.
Bioshock is one of those games that I just want to keep around forever due to the awesome memories I have with it.  And Oblivion- well, Oblivion is different every time you play it.  This will be my "How to ruin an NPC's life" game. Machete didn't you have this on PC? Anything I should know? Mods to get, things to look for etc....?

And just when I thought the Tech side of my life couldn't get any better, Bungie released the following ViDoc for ODST:

Desperate Measures

As you know I've been pretty open to which (very few) games I'll be picking up this year and ODST was quickly falling to #3 or #4 on the list.

No more.

I'm already digging the characters and am interested in the story.  The ViDoc does a great job of doing a fly-by of sorts on just what's going on in this game.

So, a recap: Oblivion, Bioshock, and ODST stuff all in one day.  Add a gearhead and it'll be a party.

The Elder Scrolls.................5

Yep there is PROBABLY a new Elder Scrolls game coming out in 2010 just jump to http://www.gamesindustry.biz/article... and find out more. Here is an clip: "Fallout 3 publisher Bethesda has indicated that the next title in the hugely popular Elder Scrolls series will be released in 2010.

Paul Oughton, publishing executive for Bethesda, also said that although the market for the Wii and DS has opened up more varied publishing opportunities, the company doesn't have any current plans to release titles for Nintendo consoles."
Well oblivion was and is still one of THE games on any console and PC. Just hope they dont do any horse armour and keep the glitches to a minimum.

Bethesda, my faith is restored

It was just announced not long ago that a construction kid (mod sdk, mod kit, whatever you want to call it) will be released, labeled G.E.C.K, (if you don't get why, do yourself a favor and play fallout 2) for the pc versions of fallout 3.  Of course this would be nigh impossible to do on the 360 or PS3.
