Gearheads of War

So I figured I would share this with you guys. I read it earlier tonight and didn't stop laughing. Be warned as the majority of it is NSFW. I'm not going to ruin any of it because it's just too damn good. Enjoy

First off I just want to say that I'm really surprised that no one else has done a write up about Home yet. I'm just going to do a quick little synopsis about what I think of Home so far. It's basically Sony's version of the sims. Except a lot less fun. The only real thing to do so far is to go to the bowling alley and either wait until a lane opens up, wait on a pool table to open up (good luck), or wait until an arcade machine opens up. The arcade games themselves aren't all that bad. There is a block breaker game, echocrome (which is like a mini version of the full arcade game you can get from the ps store) and then this other game which I have yet gotten the chance to play. Bowling is pretty much just like the bowling in GTAIV. Which means it gets old fast.

So I'm gonna have to one up tyrus here lol. According to 360 fanboy the Spike VGA's rehearsals got leaked live onto the interwebs and some guys over at the EPIC forums saw them. Apparently the big announcement is a "combustible" map pack that is set for release TONIGHT at 3 am eastern. I'm guessing we will find out in a little over an hour. Here's hoping.

Alright. This video is just damn hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. It's kind of old but I don't know how many people have seen it. Basically it's Super Mario modded to hell and back. It's got a voice over from the guy playing and he just goes crazy. The language is NSFW. Link It's a pretty long video.

So right now I'm playing the demo. I figured I would explain to those of you who would like to play it now instead of waiting how to do it.

Step one is to go here and download all five files.

Step two: Extract all of the files into a folder of your choosing

Step three: Once you extract the files you will get a folder called "contents" burn this folder onto a cd or dvd.

Step four: Put the cd into your 360. It should show up as "mixed media"

Step five: Navigate to your demos page on your 360 and the demo should show up there.

Step six: Play

This diary is basically just to show off my new avatar. I have a story about this avatar and some of you already know about it. So this is basically just for you guys. You will understand once you see the avatar. If you don't know the story and you would like to know then ask me about it and I suppose I can tell you.

So normally I don't care about glitches. Unless they alter the game play a hell of a lot. Like the weapon slide and crabwalk did in Gears 1. Well while playing wingman this morning I've found a glitch that is probably worse than both of those. I have no idea how it's done either. Basically from what I've seen is that when you pick up the shield it becomes invisible. That wouldn't be that bad except when someone does this it gives them the ability to fucking use the shotgun and lancer while they have the shield. You could probably use the boom and flamethrower while doing this as well. The guy that did the glitch has the highest rank so it's pretty obvious how he managed that. It's really easy to tell who is doing it because they are walking like they have the shield except you can't see the shield. Figured I would let everyone know.

So apparently you can now have your own custom themes for your dashboard with the NXE. I haven't tried it out yet myself because I've been using netflix all night but according to people on game trailers you can do it. If I find out how I'll update this post with how to do so. Or if someone else figures it out they can update it as well.        

Don't know if this just happened to anyone else but I just got prompted to download the NXE. WOOT.                                                                                                                                                                                                      

So while my live was going down the shitter I decided to rent Mirror's Edge to help pass the time. I realize that most people don't have the time to pick this up with Gears and L4D coming soon but I figured I would write a mini review anyways.
