Really like the stylish musical choice for the last half of the trailer. No spoilers in this one. Unless you count awesome shots of guys getting beat down by Ezio. :)

As many of you know I had some issues with the first game. Namely that I'd fall asleep if I played it for more than an hour at a stretch. :) After playing Arkham Asylum it'll be interesting to see how the combat in Assassin's Creed feels. Regardless some of these animations look sick.

The first video is a countdown that Jason Bertrand produced. He counts down his top 5 weapons from Gears of War 2.

Well today someone from Microsoft has finally confirmed (http://www.edge-online.com/news/no-gears-war-2-japan-or-germany) that this is 100% true. No reason has been given at this time, but we'll keep digging to see what we can find out.

I'm in need of some assistance...again.

I'm interviewing the brother of the big boss of this here site tomorrow, and I'm looking for some interesting questions to ask. While Gears 1 and 2 will certainly come up during the several hours I'll be spending with Epic's wunderkind, the focus of the actual interview is more on Cliff himself. What his tastes are. How he sees the state of the video game industry. Who are some people that he'd love to work with. So if you have anything AT ALL that you'd like me to ask, post them in the comments.

It's with great sadness but also much joy that we can announce that our very own Jeff Green is making the move to game development. After 17 (!) years with Ziff Davis Media, Jeff is finally jumping to the dark side to work on The Sims brand at EA. It's never fun to announce these sorts of things, but we're thrilled that one of ours has such an incredible opportunity to work on such an amazing brand (The Sims makes up more than half of EA's revenues -- what the hell are they thinking hiring Jeff?!).

Seriously, this sucks more than you can possibly imagine.

As you know, a couple of our guys were down in San Diego for Comic-Con recently, and Jason decided to put together some Gears Toy porn for people to check out.
