Gearheads of War

As many of you may know, a couple of games are kicking off the season this Thursday, but none of those games are anything to get excited about. This Saturday marks the return of hopefully another great season by all. Now tell me, who is/are your favorite schools and why?

Mine are USC, because I grew up around the area, not 'cause I'm a bandwagoner; and Clemson, 'cause they have sweet uni's and they're nearby... at last East coast close.

Alright, it doesn't deal with the notorious female this time around. Instead, I want guitar help, so I'm pointing fingers as Zoso and, well... Machete... haha.

I wanted to maybe get an acoustic guitar, then once I learn to play that, then actually get an electric guitar. Now my budget may or may not be bad at all. About $200-$250 range. I just need a good starter acoustic. That either is in the that range, or is below that'd be great, but if it's not too much higher than that's fine.

Last night, my girlfriend broke up with me, and this is probably the shittiest day of my entire life. I know I hadn't dated her for that long, but she was probably the best thing to ever happen to me. We shared almost everything in common, from movies, to colors, to TV shows, to favorite foods. Basically everything. This was the first time that I actually cared deeply for someone else, and I thought she thought the same of me. Apparently, she doesn't feel anything more than a friend connection, and that she didn't want to be in the relationship if she wasn't gonna be all there.

I was shocked, and that's why I left Jambi's game last night.

She said she was just dating somebody to get over the fact that a senior from my school wouldn't date her and that she just needed to date someone to get over it. Enter me, the lucky stud to fill that position. Within a week after meeting her online (cliche, I know, she thought she knew me from somewhere) and talking about a lot of different things, I fell absolutley head over heels for her. She was perfect in every single way. Beautiful, nice, funny, doesn't drink or smoke (which is hard to find at any school around here believe it or not).

Then last night.

Please help, with something. Again, call me a fag, but even though you guys have never seen this side of me, I don't care. I'm a sensitive guy, and I trust you guys enough, 'cause you guys are basically my second family, no matter how weird that may seem. It's just that I was hurt so bad last night, I almost can't bear the pain anymore.

And she also said that she needs time to see what she really wants; me or the douchebag senior. But today has seemed like fucking eternity.

Well, my Elite finally bit the dust. Oh, you mean how long have I had it for? Oh, I've only had it for 3 WEEKS. 3 (%$@$#^@$^$!$#^!!!) freaking weeks.

Yup, apparently the disc reader just felt like giving up. I was playing today and got off today at around 5:30 pm, then went out to eat. Got home, went over to a friends house for about an hour and then made my way back across the street (9:30 by now). Go to turn on my 360, get about 90 gazillion invites to play various games (I know, I'm that much cooler than you, Machete ;)). Anyways, I decide to play some Gears, and then a couple rumbling noises coming from the 'Box later, I call up Support to recieve my first coffin. Ever.

Seriously(doe). 3 weeks. 3 measly weeks, and the disc reader fails. Very pathetic M$, very pathetic. I am now kinda hesitant on buying the NexT-neverfullyfunctional,eventuallygonnadieonyou-Box.

But, then again, when my friend sent his box out, he just went out to Best Buy and bought a Core (excuse me, Arcade) and was able to return it for a FULL REFUND within a month. Nice scam, and I think I might try it. (No offense Machete, haha)

Well I just got back from seeing Rambo with a couple of friends. Needless to say, that move is like Machete, Bad Ass. There was so much gore, I almost pooped my pants. I probably did, now that I think about it. Unfortunately, it was only 1 hr 37 min., so it wasn't that long, but there was action throughout the entire movie.

Although the movie does open your eyes as to what exactly (or close) happens in places that have genocides (ex. Darfur). The movie really makes you want to be like Rambo and kill every bastard like that in the world.

Anyways...

So if you've haven't seen it yet or have been thinking about not seeing it, you need to see it... NOW!

Now, I was thinking about buying an HDTV after buying my Elite solely for myself, so probably nothing larger than 37". 42" would be probable, but I don't know.

Anyways, most TV's that size or smaller usually are 1080i, but rarely some are 1080p, but for rediculous prices.

Now tell me for those who have had a 1080i and switched to 1080p, (or know the difference) is there a difference between the two? Or should I stick with 1080i?

Yes fellas, as of tommorow (or later today) I get my 360 back. Unfortunatly, I don't have Halo or CoD so I'll feel kinda left out. :( I do have Gears though, or... Forza...

But yeah, you guys all probably forgot about me. (except Machete, Josh has told me things ;)) Just giving you guys the heads up.

Some of you may not know, but I've been grounded as of late, which is why I haven't really been much anymore (or it could be football taking away my life?). Now, I know you don't care, but every so often I check my friends list, and realize it is shrinking.
