Gearheads of War

Hey, this is just an idea.  If we can get enough of us with NHL 09, maybe we can start the Gearheads Hockey League!  Let me know if this sounds like a good idea.  We can hammer out the details and stuff.  

I think it would be fun, and we could end up playing for Lord "Papi's" Cup!!!

I was just surfing the net today, reminiscing on you tube, the glory days of NES and Sega Master System.  I was watching footage of all the games I used to play, and the great memories I had of them.

Anyways, I came across some Gameplay footage of the new Ghostbusters game.  This game looks awesome!  Any of you guys looking forward to this game?  It is supposed to be ready to ship this fall.  It boast 3-4 player Co-Op, which is totally Bad...Ass...  

I'm definetly buying this game, since the story is written by the "O.G.'s" (Original Ghostbuster's) Dan Aykroyd AND Harold Ramis.  The story takes place after the second movie, set in the early 90's.  It will be Voice Acted by the Original Cast, including Bill Murray.  

I can't wait...  Gears 2 AND Ghostbuster 3!!!  This holiday will be totally crazy.  I just hope my XBOX get the RROD during the summer so as I can have a new one sent to me by EMERGENCE DAY Pt. 2...  Since, you know, the RROD is IMMINENT...

If anyone is up that early lemme know, I'm sure a couple hours practice wouldn't hurt.  Just post your thoughts below.  

Does anyone happen to know the game types the boys @ Bungie are into playing?

I was just interested in setting up a diary to let everyone post their Halo 3 stats.  It would be good to see where everyone sits with experience.  I'm good, but not great.  You guys should post your Level, along with the game type associated with it.  
Maybe something like:

Savage Injun, Level 26, Team Doubles
              Level "blah", Lonewolf
              Etc., etc., etc...

Just throwing it out there.

I was just looking at the Major League Gaming site recently, and thought, I'm probably as good as some of these guys.  Have any of you guys ever considered starting a team.  It costs a certain amount of credits to enter tournaments.  Around $50 per 100cr.  I'd consider giving it a try.  If we could get a decent team together, we could practice and get pretty good.  I'm sure it takes a lot of dedication and commitment, but there's money involved.  MONEY!?!?  I dunno, maybe I'm just thinking too much into this...  Anyway, lemme know what you guys think about it.  Maybe we could make some profit off of our endeavors.

Are any of you guys deciding on picking up Burnout this Tuesday.  I mean, it has 8 player co-op.  And the graphics engine is much better than any other burnout that I've seen.  It looks to be a lot of fun.  The Mugshot Cam is a nice touch.  I wonder how many middle finger will be seen!  Can't wait to start taking people out.  If anyone else picks this up, we should hook up and do some damage.
