Free Neca Gears Action Figure at Futureshop

For all you Canadian Gearheads out there.
Futureshop is giving away "limited quantities" of the Neca locust headshot action figure with the purchase of any version of Gears of War two. They are also giving free COG tags.
I was at the store pre-ordering my copy today and asked the girl working how many she had. She said they already had a huge amount of COG tags but the action figures hadn't arrived yet so she wasn't sure.
I sure hope there will be enough for midnight launchers like myself.

There are some slight early story spoilers but nothing that give away actual plot points

Heres a leaked review of the new GTA. After reading this I am thankful this game comes out after my exams or done or else i would have failed this term. The reviewer has nothing but great thins to say as expected.
The Man With the Golden Gun

So today after whats felt like an eternity of head shots I finally got my golden shotgun. I'm very happy that its the auto-shotty that is golden and not the pump-shotty. I never want to look at that slow firing piece of junk again.
Has anyone else succumbed to the horrible obsession of the golden guns? They provide hours of endless frustration, but is the pay-off worth it?
New GTA IV videos

Two new videos of GTA have been release. both are pretty short but the one about the car is pretty awesome. They show a guy getting hit by a car in game and his hat flies off. For some reason that blew my mind. It also show a woman get into a fender bender and its pretty cool that she is flung forward as she crashes.

Desparately in need of a patch

Three days in a row I have had friends online that want to play Call of Duty 4 with me. 3 days in a row I tried to joined their parties. 3 days in a row I have gotten the "unable to connect to host" error.
Personally i have had just about enough of this. What is the point in playing online if you can't even play with people you like. Infinity ward better hurry the hell up with this patch because everyday I am wanting less and less to play this game.
P.S. thanks for all the invites tonight guys, i really would have liked to play, but I guess I'll have to wait until a company that has sold millions of copies decides its a good idea to pay someone to work out the bugs in their matchmaking system. What was the beta for again?

A metal band called August Burns Red did an instrumental version of carol of the bells and it is amazing. I would be pumped if they made a whole CD of songs like this.
Also they are an amazing band in general so people who like the genre should check em out.

Call of Duty 4 multiplayer explodes

anyone on recently when the online matchmaking broke. The game told me i had no internet connections and i've heard from others that the same thing happened. It even froze my xbox completely for a few minutes. Now whenever i get it a match its insanely laggy and then end saying the host quit even when he never left. This happening to anyone else?

I am so pumped for this game. I'm definitely gonna pick it up on my lunch break this thursday when it comes out. I think i have probably played the demo 50 times by now. I don't even know much of my time the full game is gonna take up.

I think it is an amazing game i think i've played the demo 15 times since it has come out. Being a former saketboarder i really like the more realistic approach to skateboarding that tony hawk games surely lack. I also really like the fight nightish control where you use the joysticks for nearly everything. I cant wait until the full game releases.
