So I haven't got a chance to play Halo during the week with you guys in awhile. Tried to make it last week and ended up out with my girl so couldn't join up. This week I think I'm clear so I'll play with you guys I still haven't broke out my Halo Wars to get Mythic Downloaded yet!

So let me start by saying this anytime I get into a fight with my girlfriend (we live together) she will bring up video games. Not everytime but often enough. She plays Tetris every once in awhile and Loco Roco on my PSP but that is it. So this morning when I got a email from her saying when is your Xbox going to be fixed? I replied well a couple weeks I just sent it. She said well maybe tonight we should go look at PS3's. I almost fell off my chair. I collected myself and check all news outlets for news of hell freezing over. Nothing so I figured she was just messing around. So after work we go to dinner with her Mom and on the way she said we should go to Best Buy and grab one after dinner! HOLY SHIT she was serious. The rest is history I just hooked the bitch up and fired up LBP. I'm loving this machine already besides the updates up the ass I'm having fun messing around with it. I can't wait for Killzone and to pick up some old games for this baby!!! Who ever has a PS3 I'm down for some multiplayer too when I get games that have that ablity. Oh yeah I guess I need a headset? I forgot about that well anyway off to play LBP as Solid Snake!! hahaha I love my girl!
For fans of "So I married a ax murder" you'll get that title if you haven't seen that movie you should it's funny. So to the point my Xbox has taken a nasty shit on me again. This is only number 2 (pun intended)for me so I guess I should be grateful (shuggs shoulders??) Out of no where too I watched a movie turned it off for about 20min then hit power and the red lights come on. So I'll be out of commission for a while I'll call it in tomorrow and see what free stuff I can get out of it and I'm still in warranty so I just have to ship it in. If I wasn't in warranty anymore I wasn't going to buy another one I don't have to much cash right now. So the positive part of this will be I'll get a new version of the 360 w/ HDMI which my other two didn't have. So FINALLY my HDTV will get it's HDMI port used. So I'll see you guys online when this bitch gets back from the hospital.
I'm a huge Star Wars nut and I played Battlefront 2 a ton. Teamxbox.com posted a 5 minute leaked video of the game. It's the Alpha build and has not been officially announced by Lucas Arts but this is going to be awesome. In the video it shows you jumping into a Jedi Starfighter flying around a huge level. Lots of ships in orbit over Coruscant the player actually flys around a few of them then lands inside a hanger. These levels look huge and the visuals are pretty amazing for just a alpha I would say. Did anyone else play the Battlefront series? This is one that you can fill a room with tons of people and it's all open communication. Can't wait it will probably be out at the end of this year I'm guessing.
Street Fighter 2 is probably one of the most loved fighting games of all time. Ok boring story time my family had moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota I was about 11 and didn't have friends yet. At least once a week we all went out to dinner for family time etc. We went to Fuddruckers a lot because who doesn't love a burger and it was new in town. Besides the hamburgers they had a Street Fighter 2 cabinet and I begged my parents for quarters to play it everytime we went. I hardly ever won a round but for a skinny midwest kid playing as a beefed up street fighter in exotic locals and shooting fireballs it was a dream come true. When it came out on the SNES my Dad gave in and bought the console and the game with one extra controller. He used to play with me I was always Ryu and he usually picked Dhalsim or Zangief. Neither one of us could pull of and major moves it was all button mashing but to this day it's probably my most loved game and great memories playing with my Dad. Now almost 18 years later we are ready for SFIV dropping 2-17.

I would hate to see more people lose their jobs right now, the economy is bad enough. Hopefully it's just a rumor but if not looks like Dan got out at a good time! Anyone else read the mag?

I'm not sure if anyone knew, I didn't till I read this month's Nintendo Power that this November marked 10 years Zelda Oot was released. Maybe you don't care or are not a fan but regardless this game changed the way 3-D games were made. This is the first game I remember conveying emotion and doing it with amazing cinematics and only text. I remember when you first leave the forest and get into Hyrule field the size of the world seemed endless. The lock on, the huge bosses, the puzzles everything was fresh and new. I can't believe it's been 10yrs already. I'm a huge Zelda fan have been since the NES this game made me happy to be a N64 owner. Pretty cool milestone, is anyone else a Zelda fan?
