Gearheads of War

Hey Gearheads,
               Just wanted to know what you think about Vigil Games/THQ's new game Darksiders. You play as War one of the 4 horsemen. The game is a blend of god of war/zelda/super metroid. From the videos a gametrailers this game looks to be the god of war game the 360 needs! All gameplay footage is on 360. With this game and THQs Conan coming together nicely the 360 is finally filling that action/adventure game with badass main characters and plots.

My fellow gearheads. If any of you are racing fans Foza 2 is it! Been playing the demo and comparing to GT-HD on my PS3. I will say the cars in GT-HD are more detailed but not by much. That is all I can say for GT-HD. This Forza 2 demo which is just a demo shows just some of how really AWESOME Forza 2 will be. The graphics are very nice at 60FPS yes there are some jaggies but you do not notice them while playing. Car models look great even if GT-HD 1ups a bit but the kickass damage modeling takes it to a whole new level!! I will take these models with the damage modeling anyday over GT-HD or GT5 if they do not add that in. If they took out the damage modeling then Turn 10 could have really made some really highly detailed models more so then they are now. Any parts that fall off your car or any other car stay on the track where ever ther fall for the WHOLE race! And if you run over them they will move and mess up your driving some, VERY cool. I can't wait to play with the customizing and tuning in full game. MS keeps turning out games like Gears and Forza 2 is just awesome! Now I just want to see 4 more new maps that are as good as the hidden fron map pack from Epic then they need to start working on Gears of War 2 for us :D

Hey GearHeads,

              Most of you on the east coast are still waiting to get your copy of gears like me. But I thought I would go a head and see what other weapons you would like to see as downloadable content in weapons when that happens.

Examples:

Flame Thrower
Laser blaster( since Hammer of Dawn needs open sky)
Land mines( possibly with trip wires for co-op and multiplayer)
Portable Sam mini gun( remember the first Predator movie)
These are just a few many possibilities.
