My first game!

as some of you know, i have taken a job as a high school football coach! its a dream come true. I mean i get paid to do something i love!! so during the season i wont be able to make most FFF. but ill be on during the week. some of the gear heads are teachers and know what im sayin when i talk at the satisfaction that comes along with teaching or coaching young adults and leaving a positive impact in there lives. and the youth of today needs all they can get. well friday was our first game and things went great. we came out with the win and a couple of kids surprised me. Well fellas its summer time and that means BBQ time!!! Im from Texas so BBQ is in my blood. ive been BBQin as long as i can remember. SO my question is...are there any fellow BBQ lovin gearheads. Whats your Mode of choice, Gas or charcoal? whats your favorite BBQ item? ANyone have any sweet recipes to share. Myself: im a charcoal man, never have or will touch gas! My specialty is Slow cooked brisket. with a special home made pineapple BBQ sauce. but i couldmake everymeal on the grill if i had time. And you cant grill right with out some beverage of choice. mine is miller lite. anyway just wanted to see if anyone else shared the love for BBQin as i do!!! see yall online!! and have a great summer!!
Wii Fit anyone?

Does anyone have the Wii fit? i bought it and i have to say that im very impressed. Now keep this in mind that i am a 25 year old male who is 6'2 220 lbs, played college basketball and i still work out 5 days a week. but after about an hour on the Balance board i woke up the next day and my core muscles were soooo sore. the balance games are very fun and addicting and the yoga and strength training games are pretty hard if you do them the right way. Say what you want but im sold on the Wii Fit! Also its simple enough for my 4 year old nephew to use. I think Nintendo has put out a winner with this. What do yall think?

with the release of the new fottage, i have this ichin to replay the campain of part 1. so if anyone sees me on and wants to get down on some locust killin hit me up!! Dont now if i can wait till november to play part 2! it looks frickin sweet. the 300 character thing always get me. i guess my diaries have no meat or thought to them!! haha see ya on-line. and by the way. i bet you that Marcus and Cole are from Texas!! got my xbox back. very fast turnaround! i sent it off 10 days ago. so, if anyone sees me on shot me an invite. i got some gears in last night with some of yall. very fun, but im rusty. anywhoHit me up. Go Spurs!!!!!
And how about Dwight Howard of the orland magic, hes a beast with no comparisionsin the league. A real man child!

if anyone wants to get down on some gears tonight i'll be on. i can't seem to play anything else since the word that gears 2 is coming out. so, if you wanna play some good'ol fashion gears hit me up. ill be on around 4 pacific time.

What do you think the storyline will be in Gears 2? What do you think will happen to everyone in Delta squad? I hope the story is deeper in gears2. More than the first one.
Oh and by the way, i think The spurs will win the West!!! They will beat the Lakers>
Gear Heads fantasy football

Well, its superbowl week for the gear heads fantasy league. the two teams in the championship are myself(texastrap7) and v My Thumb v. its a match that will take two weeks to see a victor arise. i come in to the game with #1 seed and a 11-2 record, while thumb was the #3 seed and a 8-5 record. just wanted to update anyone who cares. haha. anyway wish us luck, one of us is gonna need it!! haha. (just sent off my 360 for repair so im looking at a holliday season without my 360!! SUCKS!!!)

Whats up everyone. Ive been on vacation all week, so thats why i havent wrote anything or been online. i went on a cruise to mexico then came back to L.A. and went to disneyland for a day. Let me give all you youngsters some advise. Never go to disney land with a very bad hangover!!! (Screaming Kids + sunshine + Rollercoasters + To many shots of Jack Daniels the night before = Throwing up your guts all day in Disneyland bathrooms!!) haha Anyway i havent got a chance to pick up CoD4 yet. im hoping to get it soon. Ill see Yall on line this week!
Xbox Live in the work place!

So as some of you know i work in the operating room at a hospital where i live. i talk about grears and halo and things of that sort with some of my co workers that are close to my age(im 24). Well i have come to find out that the operating room supervisor has a PS3 and he is always asking me about my Xbox. We where talking about Halo3 when one of the Neuro PA's told me that one of the neuro surgeons plays Halo3. so i asked him about it and he got all giddy like a little kid and said he loves halo3 online and we exchanged gamertags. he told me that many of the surgeons he workes with also play Halo3 So i will soon be playing some halo3 (ill try to get them to play gears) with a Neurological, Vascular, general, and orthopedic surgeons and also a OB/GYN! its cool how some many people from so many different backgrounds play on XBL. anyway i thought that was pretty cool!
