OH...MY...GOD!!! I absolutely cannot wait to play this. This was just recently posted on Gametrailers (I think..). I like the new animation to pick up the sniper! Only a little over a month.....

Looks like we'll be able to blast away zombies during the same time that we get Gears 2 in our hands! There isnt an official date on when the demo will be out, but early November is pretty obvious. This is perfect timing! Apparently it's only a SP demo, but thats fine with me. It gives me more time to focus on Gears 2 SP ;) Cant wait for this game.

Ok, so everyone has heard about EPIC giving everyone a voucher with DLC remakes of a few Gears 1 maps. (Tyro, Mansion, and Canals). Well, apparently that was just a rumor... until now. Some nub on the official forum found an article on GamePro.com that confirms that the DLC maps WILL be as a voucher with every new copy of Gears 2. Also, it shows the very first pic of the Golden Hammerburst! Check it out..

Since Xbox Live is finally back up, I think we should play some late night Gears to see if it is any better than what we had before the prep yesterday. Anybody want to play tonight? I have no specific time.. I'll get on whenever everyone else is available.

Ok, this may not be that exciting compared to everything else Gears 2 related that was released today, but I thought it was pretty cool. Now, we all know that Skorge has been confirmed for use in MP, (if not, you'll see it here), but what is just confirmed today in this article is that if you manage to get to the last wave of Horde (wave 50), you will be facing this badass Locust to finish the whole thing. There hasnt been any word about the last wave including normal Locust before Skorge arrives, but I would have to assume that its just Skorge, and that he's pretty damn tough.

A few days ago while playing Gears with Blank, Suns, and Rage... we started talking about how bad Xbox Live has been lately due to them probably working out some kinks for the "new" Xbox Experience.. or whatever they're calling it. We all were saying that if XBL is this bad now, with people constantly dropping from games at random times, how bad will it be in November when Gears 2 releases, and the update is released? We arent sure when the update is coming, but there is a very good hint, pretty much revealing that it IS coming in November. Check it out...

After reading through the huge conversation over which game we should play for FFF now instead of Gears, what game is it going to be?? I personally vote for CoD4. Ever since I traded it in I've been wanting to get back into it. So, I say CoD4 without hesitation. Hopefully we can get this sorted out in this diary so we can start with the new game this Friday!

Yup, I have found the 3rd and final gameplay vid of the ones that rEDChief and Grymm posted a few weeks back. This one is only 59 seconds, but shows some Butcher Boomers up close and personal. Also, some of the annoying wretches as well. Its on the map 'Security'. Cant wait!!

So, after a brief discussion between Zoso and myself, and him telling me to go to TeamXbox to check out the Gears 2 MP review (well, their impressions).. I stumbled upon this pic of Dizzy holding a Torque Bow. Now, we all know what the Torque Bow is, but he also has a secondary weapon on his back that doesnt look like any other gun we know of. Not a boomshot, not the scorcher, not a longshot, nothing. So, check out this pic and let the speculation begin!
