So far I've heard EB Games has a 80GB $399 deal + one free game.
[LBP, FO3, COD:WAW, R2, or NHL 09]

and FutureShop has a lame MGS4 package- 80 or 160.

So I got my 360 back after 2 weeks.. thank god.
Played for a good 2 hours of Gears 2 then went to a friends house.
Came back.. checked out some 'Game Marketplace' stuff then it freezes.
Turn it off. Turn it on.
Black screen.. hmm- maybe one more reboot.
Red Rings.

If anyone could help me figure this out- google is not 'working' for me.
Error Code 4142. Freezing, black screen, and red rings of death is my conclusion..God I hate this.

So recently, I posted a diary about World @ War- and not too many people were supporting it. After playing the BETA for a couple weeks and playing it @ my friends house recently, I don't think it's a buy for me anymore. Left4Dead was my second choice but after reading IGNs review, it's really getting me pumped up seeing how it just got released TODAY.

I haven't tried the demo but I'm probably getting it regardless. How is it guys? Good singe player? Good online? Split screen(s) on one console?

Opinions wanted!

So my Xbox 360 got RROD but that's a whole other story.

I loaded my LIVE account on my friends Xbox [his Harddrive].
I got one or two achievements and left.
A day after, I go to my friends house, and play with MY Harddrive OFFLINE.
I get ONE of the achievements that I earned online already.

Now what do I do?

[So I won't screw up progress in Gears 2 + lose or mess up the achievements]

ANOTHER QUESTION:
Went to my friends [a whole different person]
and put in my harddrive- I donwloaded the flashback map pack, played on them to confirm it works- then left.
Now, the place where I played OFFLINE- I couldn't play the flashback maps [couldn't even find them] but I could still play as Carmine, Raam, and Kim [if that even matters]
What's going on?

It got a pretty good score, but what hit me was 'it feels like another Call of Duty game'. I LOVED THE BETA- but seeing how that statement is probably right, I'll enjoy the campaign for a bit and the multiplayer will be so good- but after the first prestige, ill probably get tired of it just like Call of Duty 4.

I know that Call of Duty 4 lasted me a long time - but I'm trying to get games that last me til the new sequel comes out [ex. Gears 1 to Gears 2]
But COD4 didnt last me.

Anyways, opinions about the game?

• Raise the level cap to 24 (new weapons, perks, and challenges)
• Introduce some Hardcore playlists
• Add a Search & Destroy playlist

As I mentioned in an earlier sticky, we have collected your feedback and are aware of some anomalies with the BETA. That feedback has been invaluable, and keep it coming. You may not see all the bug fixes tomorrow, but let it be known we're working tirelessly to make sure all the problems are fixed for release.

Part 2.

I call Xbox and they agree to get my xbox and 'replace' it. Sure.
So they say remove all chords, accessories, faceplate, etc from the box that you are sending to them. So I do. Then I remove my faceplate, lucky me, I see the Microsoft Warranty sticker. Let you know, I have never modded and use LEGIT games. Anyways, the warranty sticker looks like it was touched. By touched I mean, a little scratched at the top. Do you think MS will think it is modded or opened? It looks like the top of the sticker has been scratched in a way that it's "glitter" is being revealed. I bought this from a guy I met for a cheaper price but I don't think he opened it.

Good Lord, if this warranty trade-off doesn't work out, I'm planning on spending all my savings for new games [other than Gears 2] for a $399 Elite and buying it BRAND NEW. Jesus. Comments anyone?

Oh, and do you know any stores that will make deals if I give in my used 20GB Premium Console and add some money to get another console? Thanks.

My xbox 360 is dead. RROD. I live in Canada so does anyone know on how to get another box? The date on the back of my box is 2006 - something [tbe month doesnt really matter i think]

Do I still have warranty?
+ What do I need to get it repaired by microsoft?

[BTW, I bought this console USED from a store. Stupid me. Saved me a 100 bucks though.]
